2026 MAHA D8 12UB Playoffs

Welcome to the official home of the 2026 MAHA District 8 12U B Playoffs. Hosted by the Ironwood Polar Bears at the Pat O'Donnell Civic Center in Ironwood, Michigan, this tournament brings together top regional talent for an action-packed weekend from February 6–8, 2026.


On this site, you can track the progress of all eight teams as they compete in round-robin play, aiming to advance to the Semi-Finals and Sunday's Championship game. Whether you are a player, coach, or spectator, remember that hockey is awesome and we are all here to celebrate it together; please help us maintain a positive environment by adhering to the Zero Tolerance Policy regarding sportsmanship.

Sunday, February 8, 2026

  • 9:00 AM: Semi-Final 1 (1st American Conference vs. 2nd National Conference)
  • 10:30 AM: Semi-Final 2 (1st National Conference vs. 2nd American Conference)
  • 4:00 PM: Championship Game 


2026 MAHA D8 12UB Playoffs

Teams will be two conferences (American and National) with four (4) teams per conference. Teams will play three games against teams within their own conference. The top two teams from each conference advance to the Semi-Finals, with the 1st seed from the American Conference playing the 2nd seed from the National Conference and the 1st seed from the National Conference playing the 2nd seed from the American Conference. 

The standings for round robin play shall be determined on the basis of two points for a win and one point for a tie. There is no overtime in round-robin play. If two or more teams have an equal number of points, the standings shall be determined by a tie breaker format. The first tie-breaker is head-to-head result. The full formula can be found on page 34 of the 25-26 MAHA Tournament Guidebook.
